Season 1 is kinda slow honestly considering it’s the introduction stuff season 2 is sorta where the show got interesting

Nope, I didn't skip through Clannad, that was quite good. I also saw later seasons of Fruits Basket and it gets way better. Up until this episode though, I stand firm that nothing really happened. Which is somewhat understandable, since it needs to build up.

Also AoT is an amazing show, insane animation and art style, great music and awesome story.

Violet Evergarden wipes the floor with both Fruits Basket and AoT though.

I agree, but this is my 5th time giving it another shot including the older version and this is the only time I've actually been somewhat into the show frfr. hoping that it gets better so I can finally see what all the hype is about after all of these years. this show was hella popular even before the hottie version was released.

It's slice-of-life and emotionally driven, but this show can definitely get psychological and dark too as it progressed.

okay let me get this straight, Tohru was being called back by the Honda to come back to their gramps house. She move in that day....... but before she was like few hours & barely have a simple chat, the household just mock her treating her like outsider & badmouthing her mom. the next thing you knew Yuki & Kyo just barge in rescued Tohru!! man that was a bit fast but Tohru managed to express her feelings!!😭💖

Hahaha...this ep got me for good haaah... I really really feel soo refreshed, even though I was just about to go to bed just before starting this ep and now I don't feel like sleeping at all lol

if this is the first time you've cried in the show, dont worry, your crying will get worse from here :D

Grandpa is da real mvp although sad that he confuses Tohru's name with that of her mother.
The dramatic scene of Yuki and Kyo getting Tohru out of her family house definitely shows that this is a shojo series lol.

Gramps is such a lad, definitely best character in the show.
Also there's something really funny about Kyo just casually referring to Tohru as "temee," the most insulting second person pronoun other than the comically cruel "kisama." Normally you'd only refer to someone as "temee" if you were ready for a fight lol
